6. Data Retention
We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including providing the Service, completing reservations, maintaining security, resolving disputes, enforcing agreements, and satisfying legal, tax, accounting, or regulatory obligations.
Unless a longer period is required or permitted by law, our general retention practices are:
- Reservation, transaction, and accounting records: up to seven years after the relevant transaction or stay.
- Customer inquiries and support communications: up to three years after the last communication.
- Account information: for as long as the account remains active and ordinarily deleted or de-identified within 30 days after a verified deletion request.
- Security, access, and diagnostic logs: ordinarily retained for up to 12 months.
- Analytics information: ordinarily retained for up to 14 months or for the period configured within the applicable analytics service.
- Cookie information: retained until the cookie expires or is deleted through your browser or device settings.
We may retain information for a longer period when reasonably necessary to comply with law, respond to legal proceedings, prevent fraud or abuse, protect safety, resolve disputes, or enforce our agreements.
When information is no longer required, we delete it, de-identify it, or securely isolate it until deletion is possible. Information contained in system backups may remain for up to 90 additional days before being overwritten or securely deleted. During that period, backup information is not used for ordinary business purposes.
7. Data and Account Deletion Requests
You may request deletion of your personal information by:
- Emailing info@victoriaresort.com with the subject line “Data Deletion Request”; or
- Mailing a written request to: Victoria Resort, 241 Oak Street, South Haven, Michigan 49090, United States.
Your request should include enough information for us to identify the relevant records, such as your name, email address, telephone number, reservation number, or account identifier. Do not send passwords or complete payment-card information.
If the Service offers user accounts, you may also use any account-deletion option made available within the app or account settings. An account-deletion request permanently deletes the account; temporary deactivation or account freezing is not treated as deletion.
We may ask you to verify your identity before processing a request. We ordinarily process verified deletion requests within 30 days. If additional time is reasonably necessary or permitted by law, we will notify you.
When we approve a deletion request, we will delete or de-identify the personal information associated with the request from our active systems and direct applicable service providers to do the same. Information in backups may remain for up to 90 days before being overwritten or deleted.
We may retain limited information when required or permitted for purposes such as:
- Compliance with tax, accounting, or other legal obligations
- Fraud prevention and security
- Establishing, exercising, or defending legal claims
- Resolving disputes
- Enforcing agreements
Any retained information will be limited to what is necessary, protected from further unrelated use, and deleted when the applicable retention requirement ends.
8. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information. These measures may include access restrictions, secure transmission methods, system monitoring, and service-provider controls.
However, no method of Internet transmission or electronic storage is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. International Data Transfers
Your information may be transferred to, stored in, or processed in the United States or another jurisdiction where Victoria Resort or its service providers operate. Privacy laws in those jurisdictions may differ from those in your location.
Where required, we use reasonable measures intended to ensure that transferred personal information receives appropriate protection.

- Access to personal information we maintain about you
