Reserve a room or guest cottage that has both a fireplace and whirlpool tub for any two night visit this winter. Choose a one hour massage or fifty dollars for dining in downtown South Haven. It's easy!

The massage is hosted in a separate room in the bed & breakfast, complete with a cozy fireplace, ambient lighting, soft music and a cozy robe to relax in afterwards.

If you prefer dining in downtown, you can select fifty dollars towards one establishment or choose two restaurants for twenty-five dollars each. Choose from the romantic Tello Bistro, the fun Thirsty Perch, the elegant Phoenix Street Cafe or the downtown classic Clementine's.

Details: The Getaway Packages are available November 1st through April 30th only with our King Deluxe Room, Queen Deluxe Room, Mini-Suite Room, Guest Cottage B or Guest Cottage D. Getaway Packages are available any day of the week for two adults. Rates and/or package availability may vary during holidays, please call for details.

WEEKDAY ESCAPES ARE A LITTLE SWEETER IN SOUTH HAVEN

JANUARY & FEBRUARY

Reserve one of our Getaway Packages listed above for a weekday visit, and included is a bottle of wine and a box of chocolates. Simply plan your escape from work, kids and other obligations for Sunday through Thursday nights. Choose the King Deluxe, Queen Deluxe, Mini-Suite or one of the guest cottages with a wood burning fireplace.

~ South Haven's Outdoor Ice Rink is ready all winter! Tucked under the big pavilion just steps from the main street in town, the rink is lit each evening by snowflake lights as skaters take a turn around the ice. A day pass plus skate rental is only seven bucks, and the memories (and laughter) priceless! Open seven days a week, take a turn on the refrigerated rink - the hottest spot during the coolest season.

~ Foundry Hall brings a variety of events to South Haven, with acoustic music groups from bluegrass to blues, ragtime to reggae, and undiscovered singer/songwriters. You're missing out if you don't put the Foundry on your list when you visit South Haven.

~ Winery Tours and Tasting - Our best advice if you're an "amateur" wine drinker is to visit a winery in our area for free tasting. They're open year round, and you'll get a chance to try a variety of white wines & red wines without the full bottle commitment from a store. Meet the folks who make it happen, enjoy free samples and learn a little on the side. Southwest Michigan has quite a few wineries, and within a short drive you can visit Fenn Valley Winery & Vineyard, MacIntosh Wine Cellars, Contessa Wine Cellars, Karma Vista Vineyards, St. Julian Winery and Warner Wines.

~ Breweries in the Area An easy day trip will bring you to Saugatuck Brewing Company, with a fun antique mall right next door. After sampling their IPA, continue northward to New Holland Brew. When you get back to South Haven, try the Traditional Olde World Style Hard Cider at McIntosh Vineyards.
